We Are Here For The Outcome...Not The Income!
Did you know that by 2030, there will be over 72.1 million older persons in the U.S., doubling the number from 2002? And by 2050, that number will soar to 87.5 million.
The I Did Something Good Today Foundation (IDSGT), a 501(c)(3) public charity established in 2018, is driven not by the pursuit of income but by the impactful outcomes we deliver. Rooted in our mission to serve and uplift low-income, homeless, and socially isolated seniors in Los Angeles County, especially those from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, the LGBTQ+ elderly community, and seniors with disabilities, we dedicate ourselves to combating social isolation.
We offer more than just support through resources and system navigation—we provide dignity, respect, and meaningful connections to those who need them most. As a 100% volunteer organization, your donation ensures that no senior feels forgotten but cherished and valued in our community.
Our vision is to create a future where seniors in Los Angeles County, irrespective of their income, housing status, cultural background, sexual orientation, or disabilities, live in a community that cherishes their wisdom and experience. We aspire to be a beacon of hope and connection, pioneering innovative social isolation prevention programs that nurture inclusivity, promote mutual respect, and foster a sense of belonging.
We envision a society where every senior has access to the resources they need to thrive and where their contributions are celebrated as integral to the rich tapestry of our diverse community. Ultimately, we strive for a world where no senior feels isolated or marginalized, and every elder is empowered to live a dignified, fulfilling life surrounded by a supportive and caring community.
